Role Summary:

The Media Planner will be responsible for developing and executing integrated media strategies across APAC markets. This role requires a strong understanding of local market dynamics, consumer behaviors, and media landscapes to deliver effective campaigns that align with regional and global business goals. The position will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams, local market leads, media partners, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Media Plan Development

  • Develop data-driven, integrated media plans (digital, social, offline, and emerging platforms) tailored for APAC markets.
  • Conduct market research to understand consumer insights, media habits, and competitive landscape across multiple countries.
  • Recommend optimal media mix and budget allocation based on KPIs (awareness, consideration, leads, sales).

Execution & Coordination

  • Coordinate with local market teams and media vendors to ensure seamless execution of regional campaigns.
  • Monitor campaign implementation and ensure accuracy in media bookings, flighting, and creative delivery.
  • Align with creative, digital, and brand teams to ensure message consistency across markets.

Performance & Optimization

  • Track and analyze campaign performance against KPIs, ensuring optimization across markets.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve ROI and efficiency.

Stakeholder & Partner Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with media partners, publishers, and platforms across APAC (Google, Meta, TikTok, programmatic partners, local publishers).
  • Negotiate media rates, added-value opportunities, and partnership deals.

Innovation & Market Intelligence

  • Stay updated on APAC media trends, consumer behaviors, and new ad technologies.
  • Proactively identify new opportunities and platforms relevant for APAC audiences.

Qualifications:

  • Graduated from top university major Management & Business, Marketing, Statistic/Mathematics, Engineering or related fields.
  • 2–5 years of media planning/buying experience, preferably in multi-market/regional scope.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in campaign tracking and reporting tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to work with regional and global stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English (knowledge of additional APAC languages is a plus).
  • High sense of project ownership – proactive in managing campaigns end-to-end, driving initiatives forward, and ensuring accountability without constant supervision.
  • Ability to manage multiple markets, priorities, and timelines simultaneously.
