We are looking for an R&D Product Designer to support our Product Development team in
Jepara. This role is for someone with strong design foundations and hands-on experience in
furniture design, materials, and construction, who is ready to contribute to both creative and
technical development.
Responsibilities
:
- Design and developing new furniture collections for global markets
- Create and refine 3D models, renderings, and technical drawings for prototyping and production
- Research materials, construction methods, and furniture styles to support product
- development
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure design feasibility and quality standards
- Support in preparing presentations, documentation, and product development reports
Requirements
:
- Bachelor's degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, or related field
- 5 years of professional experience in furniture design or product development
- Basic knowledge of furniture construction, materials, and style
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, 3ds Max, SketchUp, or similar software
- Strong portfolio of previous design work
- Rendering skills for product visualisation
- Creativity and practical ability to solve design challenges
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- English proficiency is a plus
