We're Looking for You
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will support plant operations by delivering technical expertise, maintenance planning, and performance monitoring. Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead and supervise mechanical activities related to equipment corrective action, maintenance planning, and forced planned outages execution for the Gas Fired Power Plant.
- Develop annual mechanical budget plan including outage and major maintenance.
- Oversee sub-contractors, field crews, and quality assurance efforts for major mechanical equipment O&M activities.
- Analyze equipment performance and its reliability and provide technical recommendations to cover any issue at the Power Block and BOP systems.
- Support vibration analysis, borescope inspections, and other predictive maintenance activities. Contribute to Asset Integrity Management reporting and lead Management of Change (MoC) processes.
- Coordinate with OEMs, vendors, and internal/external technical support for diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Ensure effective execution of LTSA (Long Term Service Agreement) contracts, warranty claim, and routine performance tests.
- Review technical documents, procedures, and drawings to ensure reliability and compliance with standards.
What You'll Bring
- Possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the mechanical field, preferably in a power plant industry, but any experience in other similar industries (such as oil & gas, or petrochemical) will be also considered.
- Strong knowledge of rotating and static equipment, including maintenance and overhaul of gas/steam turbines, generator and Boiler/ Heat Recovery Steam Generator.
- Experience in handling scheduled outages, predictive and corrective maintenance, for major mechanical equipment O&M activities.
- Skilled in using CMMS systems (e.g., Maximo), and interpreting the engineering drawings and P&IDs.
- Good understanding of LTSA contracts, budget planning, and vendor performance monitoring.
- Strong communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with third-party vendors.
- High commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Mature personality and able to work with a minimum supervision to comply with a tight deadline.
