Program Background
The Australia Indonesia Partnership for Justice Phase 3 (AIPJ3) is a five-year, A$63 million investment by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) to work in partnership with the Government of Indonesia (GOI) to support advancement of its priority law and justice reforms. Building on previous phases, AIPJ3 will support partners to deliver activities against agreed policy priorities, while maintaining flexibility to respond to emerging needs and opportunities. The program focuses on seven policy priorities that are important to Australia and Indonesia: accountability and transparency, criminal justice reform, preventing violent extremism, transnational crime cooperation, commercial law, access to justice, and women's leadership.

The Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Admin Officer to provide essential support across finance, administration, and human resources functions. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day financial processes, coordinating travel and office logistics, maintaining records and registers, and supporting procurement and insurance administration in line with organizational policies. The Admin Officer will also assist in recruitment and onboarding processes, ensure proper document management, and uphold child protection standards and organization policies and regulations across administrative practices.

The objective of this role is to provide day-to-day administrative and general office management, procurement and financial management, and human resources support too ensure the smooth functioning of the office and adherence to operational policies. The role supports the implementation of efficient office systems, coordination of administrative tasks, and ensures compliance with regulations and policies. This position will report to HR & Office Manager.

About You
Essential Experience and Knowledge

  • A bachelor's degree in a field relevant to the role.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in administration, finance, and/or human resources.
  • Fluency in both Indonesian and English, with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with excellent typing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work productively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work independently as well as part of a small team, applying sound judgment and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in the international development sector, preferably DFAT-funded programs is desirable.
