The Role: The Mission Conductor

We are seeking a highly analytical and organized Technical Project Manager to act as the central nervous system for our projects. You are point of leadership that translates a strategic vision into a flawlessly executed technical reality. This role is a unique hybrid, demanding excellence in business analysis, system design, and project execution.

You will dive deep to understand the "why" behind a business need, define the "what" of the system's requirements, and meticulously manage the "how" and "when" of project delivery. You are the ultimate translator , ensuring nothing is lost between a client's vision and the engineer's code.

What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities):

  • Lead the requirement gathering process, collaborating with stakeholders (internal teams and external clients) to deeply understand, document, and validate business needs and process flows.
  • Translate complex business requirements into clear technical specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional design documents for the engineering team.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, defining scope, timelines, resources, and budget. You will own the project from kickoff to closure.
  • Serve as the primary liaison source of truth between stakeholders and the engineering team, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and expectations at all stages.
  • Proactively identify, track, and mitigate project risks, impediments, and dependencies to ensure a smooth delivery process.

What You Bring (Core Requirements):

  • Proven experience (minimum 3-5 years) in a hybrid role such as a Technical Project Manager, Business Systems Analyst, or IT Project Lead.
  • Strong proficiency in business process analysis, requirement gathering, and translating business needs into detailed technical specifications.
  • Solid experience in end-to-end project management, including planning, scheduling, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication.
  • A strong technical background or a deep understanding of the software development life cycle (SD LC), APIs, system integrations, and database concepts.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, including writing effective user stories and managing product backlogs.
  • A disciplined and meticulous approach, with an exceptional ability to manage complexity and maintain clarity in a dynamic environment.

Bonus Points (Nice to Have):

  • Professional certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or Agile (e.g., CSM, PSM).
  • Hands-on experience with project management and documentation tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello).
  • Direct experience in systems architecture or having a past background as a software developer.
  • Experience managing government-related IT projects is a significant plus.
