- Lead and manage the end-to-end test automation process using Katalon Studio.
- Design and develop automation frameworks for web, API, and mobile testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define automation strategies and identify automation opportunities.
- Review, optimize, and maintain existing test scripts for scalability and reliability.
- Integrate automation testing with CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth execution in continuous delivery environments.
- Prepare test documentation, reports, and metrics to track automation coverage and performance.
- Mentor and guide the automation testing team in best practices, tool usage, and scripting techniques.
- Troubleshoot automation failures and coordinate with development teams for timely issue resolution.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in automation testing.
- Hands-on experience with Katalon Studio for UI and API automation.
- Strong knowledge of Java/Groovy scripting and familiarity with Selenium-based frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Proficiency with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience integrating automation into DevOps pipelines.
- Exposure to performance or security testing tools is an advantage.
- ISTQB or equivalent certification preferred.
