Job Description:
- Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of all construction projects within the industrial estate, ensuring the alignment with strategic business goals and operational efficiency targets.
- Develop project execution plans, schedules, and construction methodologies that deliver quality outcomes on time and within budget.
- Oversee daily construction operations across multiple sites, ensuring adherence to approved designs, specifications, and contractual obligations.
- Monitor project progress, verify contractor performance, manage site inspections, and resolve on-site issues proactively.
- Establish and enforce robust Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) systems to ensure all construction works meet required specifications, regulations, and safety standards.
- Manage all construction contracts, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare and present progress reports and budget forecasts to management.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, vendors, local authorities, and stakeholders.
- Lead, mentor, and develop site managers, supervisors, and construction teams, building a culture of accountability, quality, and safety.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in
Civil Engineering
, Construction Management, or a related field (Master's degree is an advantage). - Minimum
15 years' experience
in large-scale construction project management, with
at least 5 years in a senior managerial
or GM role. - Demonstrated success managing
major industrial estate or infrastructure projects (500 Ha or more preferred). - Strong technical knowledge of civil, structural, and site infrastructure construction.
- Proficiency in construction management tools such as Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, etc.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Solid knowledge of local construction laws, permitting, and site safety requirements.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, contracts, and large site teams.
- High frequency visit to sites and stakeholders' meetings.
