Sales Representative – Forklift

Job Purpose:
To support the sales team in promoting and selling forklifts and related material handling equipment. The Junior Forklift Sales Representative will assist in identifying potential clients, managing customer relationships, and helping to close sales deals while gaining experience in the sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and field visits.
  • Support senior sales team in preparing proposals, quotations, and presentations.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and site visits with supervision.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide basic product information.
Market Research & Lead Generation

Research potential customers and market trends in the material handling industry.

  • Maintain and update customer database (CRM systems).
  • Follow up on sales leads and maintain communication with prospects.
Product Knowledge

Learn the specifications, features, and benefits of forklifts and other company offerings.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and competitor activities.
Customer Relationship Management

Build strong relationships with existing and potential clients.

  • Maintain regular communication to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the sales and technical team to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and product briefings.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • 0–2 years of sales or customer service experience (preferably in industrial equipment or machinery).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic understanding of sales techniques and customer engagement.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a technical sales environment.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally.
Sales – Development and Export
  • Developing markets.
  • Expanding the company's product market share.
  • Responsible for the development of export sales strategy and marketing plan to achieve annual sales target.
  • Responsible for negotiation of commercial contract, order quotation and daily communication with customers.
  • Responsible for customer visit reception, customer visits and other matters.
Requirements
  • College degree or above.
  • Good proficiency in English is a must.
  • Sales experience is preferred.
  • Strong learning and communication skills.
  • Good sense of teamwork and ability to work under pressure.
