We're hiring a
Technical Associate Product Manager / Product Manager
who brings both
technical expertise and product ownership experience
. If you've previously worked as a Software Engineer, QA, or System Analyst, and have transitioned (or are transitioning) into product — this role is designed for you.


This is a full-time, on-site (WFO) role based in Surabaya
.

Candidates must be available to work from our Surabaya office.

What You'll Do:

Collaborate with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to build impactful, user-centered products for universities

Translate business goals and user needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria

Lead sprint planning and backlog prioritization with your squad

Use your technical understanding to ask the right questions, identify edge cases, and bridge communication between tech and non-tech teams

Assist in UAT coordination and ensure product readiness before release

Work closely with Product Leads to align features with the product vision and roadmap

Support post-release validation and iterate based on feedback and metrics

What We're Looking For:

For Associate Product Manager (Technical):

  • 1–2 years experience in a technical role (Software Engineer, QA, or System Analyst)
  • 1–2 years experience as a Product Manager or Associate PM
  • Strong understanding of how web-based systems work (front-end, back-end, APIs, databases)
  • Comfortable writing documentation, user stories, and collaborating in an Agile environment
  • Excellent analytical thinking, structured communication, and problem-solving skills

For Product Manager (Technical):

  • 3–4 years total experience as a Product Manager (preferably in B2B, SaaS, or platform-based products)
  • Prior background in a technical role is highly preferred
  • Able to lead product discovery, roadmap planning, and cross-functional execution
  • Strong leadership in managing stakeholders, balancing priorities, and making data-informed decisions
  • Strategic thinking with attention to scalability and long-term impact

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in education technology, university systems (SIAKAD, LMS), or large-scale platforms
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Notion, Miro, Figma, Postman, or SQL
  • Understanding of user research and usability testing
  • AI-first mindset or curiosity about intelligent automation in product design
