Role Description
This is a remote contract role for a Backend Developer specializing in C# and .NET Core. The Backend Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend solutions, ensuring high performance, and integrating with databases. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and supporting the software development lifecycle through testing, deployment, and debugging.

Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend logic using C# (.NET Core).
* Design, implement, and optimize database schemas (SQL Server or PostgreSQL).
* Handle authentication, authorization, and role-based access control.
* Integrate with third-party APIs (e.g., logistics, customs, or quota data).
* Collaborate with frontend developers to align API contracts and response structures.
* Participate in feature-based iterations, delivering modular backend components per sprint.
* Conduct unit testing, support QA/UAT, and ensure scalability and maintainability.
* Contribute to code reviews, deployment pipelines, and continuous integration efforts.
Requirements
* Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core (7+).
* Experience with REST API design, Entity Framework, and SQL (MS SQL).
* Understanding of clean architecture, layered design, and repository patterns.
* Hands-on experience with Docker / Linux environments.
* Familiar with Git workflows and Agile feature-based development cycles.
* Strong analytical and communication skills.
