  • Lead and supervise a team of production workers, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Plan and prioritize production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize production efficiency.
  • Coordinate with other departments (such as procurement, maintenance, and quality assurance) to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures and conduct inspections to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all production activities.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and waste reduction initiatives
  • Provide training and development opportunities to production staff to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; relevant experience may substitute for education.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, quality standards, and safety regulations in food manufacturing.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
