About the Job

The Finance Assistant will be responsible for supporting daily and monthly financial activities, including invoice processing, account reconciliation, and assisting in financial reporting. This role works closely with the Office Manager and project teams to ensure accurate and timely financial documentation in line with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, verify, and sort vendor invoices.
- Ensure proper account coding, approvals, and payment instructions are in place.
- Perform regular bank and internal account reconciliations.
- Assist in monthly and annual ledger closing.
- Prepare monthly financial reports (cash flow, ledger, budget realization).
- Maintain organized records of financial documents, both physical and digital.
- Assist project teams in preparing fund requests and expense realization.
- Ensure all supporting documents are complete and compliant.
- Provide necessary documentation for internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and tax regulations.
- Support the development and updating of financial SOPs.
- Contribute ideas for improving reporting and financial systems.
- Perform other finance and administrative tasks as required by the team.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in consultancy, construction, or manufacturing.
- Proficient in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Familiar with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Tagetik, Accurate).
- Detail-oriented, organized, and trustworthy with confidential data.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Able to work independently and in a team, with a focus on timely execution.
- Proficiency in English is a plus, especially for coordination with international teams.
