About the Role

In line with our business expansion and efforts to strengthen our customer base in Indonesia, we are seeking a Manager of Sales Division to lead our local sales team. This position plays a key role in managing client relationships, driving sales growth, and coordinating with our Japan headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients
  • Develop new customers and expand market opportunities
  • Plan and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
  • Identify customer needs and propose appropriate products or services
  • Handle overall sales operations, including quotations, contracts, and delivery schedules
  • Coordinate and report to Japan headquarters and local teams
  • Manage, train, and develop sales staff to achieve organizational goals

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher (any major)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate or industrial product sales
  • Business-level English proficiency (for internal and external communication)
  • Japanese language proficiency equivalent to JLPT N2 or higher (for communication with Japanese managers and HQ)
  • Strong understanding of Indonesian business practices and a proactive working attitude

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working at a Japanese company
  • Proven track record in developing new markets and acquiring customers
  • Experience in cost management, sales planning, and price negotiation
  • Experience in team management, training local staff, and team building
  • Experience coordinating with Japan headquarters or other overseas branches
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint) for creating sales materials and reports
