Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time, on‑site leadership role based in Semarang.
The Purchasing Manager will play a pivotal part in the hotel’s pre‑opening success by leading all procurement activities — from vendor sourcing and contract negotiation to cost control, inventory planning, and ensuring timely availability of operational and guest‑facing supplies. You will collaborate closely with department heads and the leadership team to support seamless operations and uphold brand standards of quality and sustainability.
Qualifications- Proven experience in hotel purchasing , ideally in pre‑opening luxury environments
- Strong vendor management , negotiation, and supply chain coordination skills
- Solid understanding of procurement policies , cost control, and inventory systems
- Familiarity with hospitality standards , product specifications, and compliance
- High level of integrity , accountability, and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to support cross‑department collaboration
- Ability to work under pressure, manage timelines, and adapt to changing priorities
