Role Overview

The
Demand Planning Manager
will be responsible for developing and executing accurate demand forecasts to support sales, marketing, and supply chain operations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams — including Sales, Logistic, Supply Chain and Finance — to ensure optimal inventory levels, minimize stockouts and excess, and drive efficiency across the planning process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end demand planning process for all product categories within the beauty portfolio.
  • Develop, review, and maintain monthly demand forecasts using statistical models and business insights.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to incorporate promotional activities, product launches, and market trends into the forecast.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and identify key drivers of variance; implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with Supply Planning to ensure alignment between demand and production capacities.
  • Support S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) meetings, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Manage new product introductions (NPI) and phase-out planning to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Provide inventory analysis and recommendations to balance service levels and working capital.
  • Continuously improve forecasting processes, tools, and KPIs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management — preferably in the
    beauty, cosmetics, or FMCG industry
    .
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in forecasting tools (e.g., SAP APO, Anaplan, Kinaxis, or similar).
  • Advanced Excel and data visualization skills (Power BI or Tableau a plus).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments.
  • Strong business acumen with a customer-focused mindset.
