Job Purpose

To plan, design, supervise, and manage civil and infrastructure works within the industrial estate, ensuring that construction and maintenance projects meet quality, cost, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and update civil engineering drawings and designs (roads, drainage, site grading, foundations, structures, utilities).
  • Conduct feasibility studies, technical evaluations, and cost estimation for civil works.
  • Coordinate with consultants and contractors for design review and technical approval.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
  • Supervise and monitor site construction work, ensuring adherence to approved design, timeline, and budget.
  • Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
  • Conduct site inspections and issue reports on progress, quality, and safety.
  • Manage coordination among contractors, utilities, and stakeholders to resolve on-site technical issues.
  • Support land development and plot preparation activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of site works, materials, and progress reports.
  • Prepare project status reports, cost tracking, and technical documentation.
  • Ensure all drawings and as-built documents are properly updated and filed.

Requirements:

  • Willing for job placement in Batam.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 3–7 year
    s
    of relevant experience in civil or infrastructure works, preferably in industrial estate, industrial park, plant construction, or large-scale land development projects.
  • Proficiency in design software.
  • Strong knowledge of civil construction standards, local building codes, and infrastructure design.
  • Excellent coordination and communication with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Able to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good leadership and supervision capability for site teams and contractors.
