We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom programs and enhancements within the SAP environment to support our clients' unique business requirements. This role involves close collaboration with functional teams and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient SAP solutions. We offer full-time contracts, hardware support, work travel, and ongoing training budgets.

About the Role

  • Design, develop, and implement custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements (user exits/BAdIs), and forms (SmartForms/SAPscript/Adobe Forms).
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver effective solutions.
  • Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization of existing ABAP programs.
  • Develop and integrate SAP Gateway services using OData, BAPI, and RFC.
  • Work on data migration and interface development (IDoc, ALE, BAPI, RFC).
  • Ensure compliance with SAP development standards and best practices.
  • Support system upgrades, transports, and testing activities.
  • Maintain proper documentation for all development activities.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
  • Strong proficiency in ABAP Objects, BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, and OData services.
  • Experience with SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI/CO, or EWM.
  • Familiarity with SAP HANA and ABAP on HANA (CDS Views, AMDP) is a plus.
  • Understanding of integration technologies (e.g., SAP PI/PO, CPI) and APIs (REST/SOAP).
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to S/4HANA environment and modern ABAP techniques.
  • Experience with Fiori/UI5 integration or backend OData services.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology and DevOps tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins).
