Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
- Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Perform regular maintenance and upgrades on network systems and devices to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Monitor network performance, analyze network traffic and logs, and diagnose bottlenecks or performance issues.
- Ensure network security by implementing security policies and maintaining firewalls.
- Create and maintain network diagrams, update technical documentation, and keep accurate records of incidents and configurations.
- Ecalating complex issues and collaborating with other IT teams for seamless operations.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to L1 support engineers.
- Managing and trobleshooting un-complex OS Linux and Windows problem.
- 3-4 years of experience in IT Network Engineer or IT Support.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is typically required.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP protocols, routing protocols, and switching concepts (e.g., VLANs).
- Experience with configuring and managing network devices (router, switch). Fortigate & Fortiswitch brand plus point.
- Knowledge of firewall management, VPNs, and monitoring for security threats using Fortigate.
- Experience with hands-on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including CloudVPN, Interconnect Partner, CloudNAT, CloudRouter.
- Ability to analyze logs, packet captures, and monitoring data to diagnose issues.
- Familiarity with load balancers for optimizing network traffic.
- Experience with Datadog monitoring system (+ point).
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows OS operational.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for troubleshooting complex network issues.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing environments and work after hours when needed.
- IT Network Security certifications, including Cisco: CCNA, CCNP and Fortinet: NSE 1, 2, 3, 4 (plus point).
