We are seeking an experienced Distribution Manager in the medical device industry, responsible for developing, managing, and expanding our distributor network in Jakarta, Surabaya, and Sumatra.
The ideal candidate should possess strong existing connections with local distributors, hospitals, and healthcare institutions, and have a proven track record of achieving sales growth through effective channel management.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute regional distribution strategies to achieve sales and market growth targets.
- Identify, appoint, and manage qualified distributors and sub‑dealers in Jakarta, Surabaya, and Sumatra.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key channel partners, hospital procurement teams, and government institutions.
- Monitor distributor performance, provide support and training to ensure business alignment with company objectives.
- Conduct market visits regularly to assess local demand, competition, and pricing trends.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan promotional and branding activities within assigned territories.
- Ensure product registration, compliance, and distribution processes meet company and local regulatory requirements.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market analysis for management.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Marketing, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in medical device distribution management or channel sales.
- Extensive network and relationships with distributors and hospitals in Jakarta, Surabaya, and Sumatra is a must.
- Experience with IVD (In Vitro Diagnostics), EEG (Electroencephalogram), ECG (Electrocardiogram), and medical imaging products is preferred.
- Proven success in achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Indonesia’s healthcare procurement system and regulatory requirements.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Indonesia (spoken and written); ability to communicate in Chinese will be an added advantage.
