Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and variation orders based on design, shop drawings, and project specifications.
Analyse and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and other project documentation to ensure accurate cost planning.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms.
Monitor and control project costs, track variances, and implement effective cost-control measures to keep projects within budget.
Collaborate with design, procurement, and site teams to ensure alignment of materials, schedules, and cost targets.
Provide regular cost reports, forecasts, and updates to project managers and clients; assist in tender submissions and contract administration.
Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities while maintaining compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and company policies.
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the interior design or construction industry
Proficient in using construction cost estimation software and spreadsheet applications,Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail,Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders
