- Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and variation orders based on design, shop drawings, and project specifications.
- Analyse and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and other project documentation to ensure accurate cost planning.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms.
- Monitor and control project costs, track variances, and implement effective cost-control measures to keep projects within budget.
- Collaborate with design, procurement, and site teams to ensure alignment of materials, schedules, and cost targets.
- Provide regular cost reports, forecasts, and updates to project managers and clients; assist in tender submissions and contract administration.
- Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities while maintaining compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the interior design or construction industry
- Proficient in using construction cost estimation software and spreadsheet applications,Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail,Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders
