Our mission includes creating transparency and traceability in the waste value chain and providing social security to 50,000 waste pickers by 2030. We are looking for a Head of Finance who shares the same passion with us in building a circular economy.

Role Overview:

The
Business Development Manager
will play a critical role in expanding Sirsak's footprint in the waste management industry by acquiring long-term contracts with FMCG brands, government partners, and other stakeholders. This role involves identifying new opportunities, developing strategies for growth, and nurturing existing relationships to drive business success while contributing to our social and environmental goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Business Growth & Strategy:

  • Identify, evaluate, and secure new business opportunities with a focus on the consumer goods industry and other relevant sectors.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve both revenue growth and social/environmental impact targets.
  • Lead the preparation of business proposals, grant application, presentations and contracts, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and partnership agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Design and implement partnership mechanisms and explore revenue diversification strategies

2.Partnership & Relationship Building:

  • Build and nurture relationships with key industry leaders, including FMCG brands, government bodies, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage and update Sirsak's client database and maintain a healthy pipeline of potential opportunities.
  • Manage relationships with existing clients to identify opportunities for further collaboration.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to integrate client's feedback and co-create value propositions
  • Representing Sirsak at industry events, conferences, and meetings, actively promoting the company's mission and services

3.Market Research & Analysis

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and opportunities in the waste management and circular economy space
  • Provide insights to the team on market demands, competitive positioning, and emerging regulations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, and related field
  • 2-3 years of proven experience in B2B business development
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in design and marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Canva, CRM, email marketing, social media)
  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop data-driven strategies
  • Passionate about sustainability, waste management and social impact
  • Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English (both written and verbal)
