Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and skilled F&B Staff member to manage the daily food service operations for our students and staff. This role is critical in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, nutritious, and varied meals while maintaining efficient administrative and procurement processes. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, a creative problem-solver, and capable of providing constructive supervision to our kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Menu Planning & Development:

· Develop, schedule, and manage cyclic menus for student and staff lunches, as well as breakfast for staff, balancing nutrition, taste, and cost.

· Conduct regular food testing and evaluation.

· Responsively adjust menus based on structured feedback, collaborating with relevant stakeholders.

  • Procurement & Inventory Management:

· Plan and procure all raw food materials from approved vendors.

· Manage inventory levels to ensure freshness and minimize waste.

· Process purchase orders and fund requests in accordance with school financial procedures.

  • Kitchen Supervision & Quality Control:

· Provide daily supervision, guidance, and feedback to the kitchen team (Cooks and Helpers).

· Act as a key point of contact for the kitchen, ensuring recipes and standards are followed.

· Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of all cooking and dining equipment.

  • Event & Internal Catering Coordination:

· Coordinate and manage the provision of catering (snacks and meals) for all school events and departmental requests.

· Enforce the school's policy of a 7-day advance booking requirement via the official system (Brightlight).

· Efficiently manage last-minute requests while adhering to budgetary and operational constraints.

  • Administration & Communication:

· Serve as the primary liaison between vendors, the kitchen team, and internal departments.

· Maintain clear and consistent communication channels between the General Affairs office and the Health & Nutrition Coordinator.

· Handle administrative tasks related to menu scheduling, budget tracking, and order management.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

· Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Tourism, or a related field. Candidates with non-relevant degrees but significant F&B experience are encouraged to apply.

· Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in an F&B role, preferably in a supervisory or administrative capacity.

· Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and basic nutritional principles.

· Excellent administrative and organizational skills, with high attention to detail.

· Proficient in using office productivity software (e.g., MS Office/Google Workspace).
