Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate DLP activities for MEP systems, ensuring timely resolution of defects and outstanding works.
- Maintain and update defect tracking logs, follow up with contractors and vendors for rectification.
- Conduct site inspections and verification of defect closure.
- Liaise with operations and end-users to validate defect reports and ensure satisfaction.
- Prepare DLP status reports and escalate unresolved issues to the Project Manager.
- Support the Project Manager in monitoring project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on MEP design and execution.
- Assist in preparing progress reports, risk assessments, and quality control documentation.
- Represent ST Telemedia GDC in the utmost professional manner while constantly embracing honesty, integrity and transparency.
- Maintain project documentation.
- Any other matters that are assigned from time to time.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelors level.
- Project Management qualification or similar equivalent training in the Engineering and Construction industry.
- Minimum 5 years Project Management experience for Data Centre or other related Mission Critical (24x7) environment projects.
- Project Management Experience with a minimum project value of $100m (both Green and Brown field projects).
- Strong knowledge and experience in the data Centre infrastructure design, construction and fit out processes including mechanical, electrical, builder works & security systems.
- Experienced in full-lifecycle Project Management from design and feasibility through to close-out and DLP. Demonstrated career progression in Engineering and Construction.
- Ability to plan, organize and manage an international team of multi-disciplined resources.
- Excellent verbal and written English.
- Strong communication skills essential.
- Willing to travel
