About the Position

The Quality Assurance Senior Manager will be responsible for leading the implementation of the Quality Assurance Department's short-term (annual) business plan in alignment with the company's Quality & Operational Excellence strategy. This role will develop and execute strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure consistent product quality in the highly competitive FMCG food industry. The position requires extensive expertise in quality management systems, strong leadership to drive cross-departmental collaboration, and the ability to maintain compliance with national and international food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of Quality Assurance management systems across the entire supply chain — from raw material and ingredient receipt, packaging materials, production processes, storage, to finished goods shipment.
  • Ensure compliance and continuous improvement of quality management systems, including ISO 22000:2018, FSSC 22000, HACCP, ISO 9001:2015, Halal Product Assurance System, and SNI requirements.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, minimize production defects, and optimize cost control without compromising product quality.
  • Facilitate coordination with relevant departments to identify root causes of consumer complaints, establish corrective and preventive actions, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Lead internal and external audits, ensuring readiness and compliance for certification processes.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to strengthen the company's quality assurance framework.
  • Mentor and develop the QA team to maintain high technical competency, problem-solving capability, and compliance mindset.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree is an advantage.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the FMCG food industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial or senior leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and certification processes (ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, HACCP, ISO 9001, Halal, SNI).
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing QA systems across multiple production lines or facilities.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Professional proficiency in English (both written and verbal).
