Network Engineer
We're looking for a Network Engineer with min. 3 years of experience in a Network Engineer or similar IT infrastructure role who brings strong technical expertise, problem‑solving ability, and a service‑driven mindset. In this role, you'll help design, maintain, and support secure and scalable network infrastructure across multiple locations – all while providing excellent support to both internal teams and clients.
Responsibilities- Provide technical support and guidance to members and identify opportunities to upsell member IT services.
- Monitor network health across all sites and identify and propose solutions to potential problems/issues before they occur.
- Resolve incoming help requests from members, internal team, and monitoring alerts ensuring tickets are assigned, owned, and resolved quickly within SLA.
- Establish a healthy network by evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, and latency.
- Maintain network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning.
- Troubleshoot network problems and escalate issues to vendors when necessary.
- Continuously develop and improve network policies, procedures, and documentation ensuring they are implemented and followed by the team.
- Conduct onsite installation, configuration, and testing of network infrastructure equipment for new locations and expansions.
- Having experience min. 3 years as Network Engineer / Wireless Engineer (preferably focused on WLAN, WiFi, or Radio Frequency (RF)).
- Proficiency with technologies including: Access Point (AP), Wi‑Fi controllers, RF signal, spectrum analysis, antenna design, wireless security (WPA2, WPA3).
- Knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF), propagation, site survey, wireless security, and AP configuration.
- Experience with WiFi tuning tools (e.g., Ekahau, AirMagnet, WiFi Explorer, or similar).
- Strong understanding of wireless protocols and standards.
- Hands‑on networking troubleshooting experience required.
- Thorough understanding of LAN, Layer 2 switching, data security, DNS, IP routing, firewall, HTTP, VPN, and email routing.
- Experience with network performance tuning, LAN knowledge, network design and implementation.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and tasks while meeting strict deadlines.
- Ability to use discretion and judgment in evaluating problems and developing solutions.
- Strong technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly presence and helpful attitude with a problem‑solving mindset.
- Availability to work after hours as needed during site installations or issue resolutions.
- Willingness to travel between sites as required.
- AI and IoT integration (preferred).
