Job Title: Store Clerk

Job Summary:

The Store Clerk is responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and assisting customers with purchases. This role involves stocking shelves, operating the cash register, and ensuring an efficient and pleasant shopping experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers and provide assistance with locating products.

Operate cash register, process payments, and issue receipts accurately.

Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure products are properly labeled and priced.

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store, including shelves and checkout areas.

Monitor inventory levels and report low-stock items to management.

Assist with receiving and unpacking shipments.

Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally.

Follow all company policies, health, and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.

Basic math and cash-handling skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.

Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Salary Range:

Hourly: $12 – $18 per hour

Annual: Approximately $25,000 – $38,000 depending on location and experience
