We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Production Manager to oversee all production processes, ensure product quality, optimize operational efficiency, and manage and lead the production team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining our reputation for excellence and supporting our growth objectives.
- Production Planning: Develop and execute production schedules to meet aggressive sales forecasts and market demand of products.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee daily factory operations, ensuring on-time and in-full production. Drive a culture of continuous improvement by implementing methodologies.
- Quality and Safety Compliance: Maintain and enforce stringent quality control standards, including certifications and industry-specific regulations (e.g., food safety standards, Halal, BPOM). Lead a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
- Inventory and Supply Chain Management: Work closely with the supply chain and procurement teams to manage raw material inventory, prevent stockouts, and ensure the timely delivery of goods to distribution channels.
- Team Leadership and Development: Supervise, train, and motivate team. Foster a collaborative environment and provide guidance to team leaders and supervisors to meet daily and weekly production targets.
- Cost Management: Monitor production costs, including labor, materials, and energy. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising product quality or safety.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), production output, and on-time delivery. Analyze data to identify bottlenecks and present performance reports to senior management.
- Equipment Maintenance: Work in partnership with the maintenance department to schedule and oversee regular maintenance of production machinery to minimize downtime and prevent costly breakdowns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a production management/ leadership role, ideally within the food manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards (e.g., BPOM, NKV, HACCP, GMP, Halal).
- Proven leadership capabilities, with experience managing diverse production teams.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Systematic, detailed and proactive.
- Good knowledgeable in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting and creating production reports.
- Willing to be based in Jakarta.
