DESIGNATION : IT Infra Server Associate Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and supervise server administrators and technicians, including mentoring and training team members to support their professional growth.
  • Delegate tasks effectively, set priorities, manage resources, and foster a motivated and positive team environment.
  • Develop long-term server infrastructure strategies and roadmaps aligned with business growth, innovation goals, and the organization's technology direction.
  • Collaborate closely with team members, management, and cross-functional departments to ensure smooth coordination.
  • Work with stakeholders to define project requirements and ensure successful delivery of server-related initiatives.
  • Plan, implement, and oversee projects such as server migrations, upgrades, and deployments using project management methodologies to manage timelines, risks, and resources.
  • Assess and adopt emerging technologies in virtualization, cloud computing, and containerization to enhance infrastructure capabilities.
  • Conduct risk audits, findings reviews, and vulnerability assessments, ensuring timely remediation.
  • Ensure clear communication to internal and external stakeholders regarding any activities within the network or server scope that may impact customer products or services.
  • Perform all configuration changes in accordance with ALTO's Privileged Access Management (PAM) procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in server administration or infrastructure management, ideally in roles with progressively increasing responsibility.
  • Strong understanding of data center operations, server consolidation, and high-availability (HA) architectures.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), or CompTIA Server+ are highly beneficial and strengthen technical credibility.
