About the Role
As a Business Development Intern, you will assist the Business Development team in managing day-to-day activities related to building and maintaining partnerships with insurance brokers, corporate partners, and clients. This role offers exposure to client engagement, proposal preparation, and market research, ideal for students or fresh graduates eager to learn the fundamentals of business growth in the insurtech industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Support client and partner meetings by taking notes, summarizing discussions, and preparing follow-up reports.
- Prepare and update presentation decks, proposals, and business development materials.
- Maintain CRM data and assist with administrative tasks related to meetings and partnership progress.
- Help coordinate meeting schedules, invitations, and communication with external stakeholders.
- Learn and understand Kinsure's insurance products and value propositions.
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify potential business opportunities.
- Assist in lead generation and follow-up with prospective partners.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, and operations) to gather information for business proposals.
- Provide concise action summaries and recommendations after each meeting.
Qualifications
- Final-year student or fresh graduate from any major; backgrounds in Business, Management, Communication, Marketing, or Economics are preferred.
- Interest in the insurance or financial technology (insurtech) industry is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in creating presentations (PowerPoint or Google Slides).
- Organized, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Familiarity with Excel/Google Sheets and CRM systems is an advantage.
- Available for at least 3 months of internship (longer period preferred).
- Based in Jabodetabek or willing to attend in-person meetings when required.
- Conversational English skills are an advantage.
