What you'll be doing
- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, tax planning and financial planning
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and financial regulations
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and recommend strategic actions
- Manage the company's cash flow and liquidity, and optimise financial resources
- Collaborate with department heads to support financial planning and decision-making
- Lead the financial team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management
- Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and controls
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a senior financial management role
- Prior experience as an Auditor with one of the Big 4 accounting firms, providing a solid foundation in audit, compliance, and risk management
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial analysis
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proficient in the use of financial software and tools, such as ERP systems and spreadsheet applications
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across the organisation
