Coordinate and oversee shipping arrangements, including vessel booking for cargo transportation.
Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and customs agents to facilitate smooth and timely shipments.
Handle truck arrangements, optimizing routes, and managing logistics for land resolve any shipping- related issues or delays.
Negotiate contracts, rates and services with vendors and carriers to ensure cost-effective logistics solutions.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits, reporting, and compliance purpose.
Communicate well with customers and solve problems for them.
Requirements:
Proven experience in import/export operation, including vessel booking and logistics arrangement.
Strong knowledge of import/export, documentation and customs procedures.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Proficient in using logistic software and MS office.
Exceptional communication skills.
Better have vendors of trucking
Proficiency in English.
