Reporting to : APAC Country Compliance Director

Key responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze all tax-related accounts calculation, reconciliations, returns and reporting (both internal and external)
  • Ensure correct payroll accounting and reconciliation
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors
  • Support in all statutory audit, ensuring month end management and year end close process including financial records are completed fully, on time and of a good standard in line with accounting standards, both local Gaap and IFRS
  • Prepare statutory adjustment and annual financial statements
  • Ensure that all statutory filing requirements are met, not limiting to annual return, direct & indirect taxes, transfer pricing, payroll, stamp duty obligations and dealing with Authorities primarily Bank, Custom & Tax
  • Support SSC (AP, AR, GL, FA, Payroll) through quality review and analyze all balance sheet reconciliations in case of issues, escalation, accounting adjustments and process improvements
  • Support treasury initiatives not limited to funding or cashflow management and central bank reporting
  • Manage deliverables of outsourcing services ensuring all service levels are met as appropriate
  • Perform process reviews, as needed to identify improvements, increasing efficiencies while managing cost effectiveness
  • Ensure regulatory adherence to Indonesia law and other legal, tax and regulatory changes
Qualifications and skills

Requirements for this position

The position  will be a 'hands-on' Senior Financial Business Professional with self-starting capabilities We are looking for a qualified accountant with at least 6-7 years' experience. Hold CPA/CIMA/ACCA or local equivalent professional certificate. Fluency in English and local language mandatory.
