Job Summary

The Assistant Manager, Accounting will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, preparing timely and accurate financial reports, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards, policies, and regulations. This role requires strong leadership, analytical ability, and technical accounting expertise to support effective decision-making and provide valuable insights to management.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
  • Maintain the general ledger system and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure timely submission of financial reports to management and regulatory authorities.
  • Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including month-end and year-end closing, accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, cash flow, and revenue/expenditure variance analysis.
  • Supervise accounting staff and guide them to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data, producing timely and accurate financial reports for management decision-making.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors, ensuring all audit requirements are met.
  • Ensure compliance with Indonesian GAAP, IFRS, and relevant tax regulations.
  • Implement and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and internal controls.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities in collaboration with Finance.
  • Provide recommendations to improve systems, procedures, and financial processes.
Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting with GPA ≥ 3.0.
  • Holder of Brevet A & B certification.
  • 3–5 years' experience in accounting, with exposure to a reputable Public Accounting Firm preferred.
  • Proven working experience as an Assistant Manager, Accounting / Accounting Manager / Accounting Supervisor / Finance Manager.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Indonesian GAAP, IFRS, PSAK, and local tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and the Oracle system (knowledge of other ERP systems is a plus).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle and analyze large volumes of data effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coach and develop staff.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across departments.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
