This is a full-time position as a Sales Manager for our clients in a Japanese FMCG Company based in South Jakarta. Reporting to Sales General Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing Modern Trade / General Trade / Regional Local Modern Trade and developing strong relationships. Your expertise and strategic approach will be instrumental in driving sales growth and ensuring the continued success of the business.
Job Description :
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Manage relationships with key buyers, distributors, and retail partners to ensure product availability and visibility.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team goals.
- Negotiate trading terms, promotional activities, and pricing agreements with clients and distributors.
- Coordinate with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution of sales plans.
- Conduct regular visits to markets, stores, and distributors to monitor execution and gather feedback.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and action plans to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, business ethics, and brand standards.
Job Specification :
- Bachelor's degree in any major.
- Excellent communication skills in English and in Bahasa.
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG/manufacturing companies.
- Prior experience in handling Modern Trade / General Trade / Regional Local Modern Trade channels.
- Proven track record of managing buyers and distributor networks.
- Demonstrated ability in sales planning, negotiation, and execution.
- Willingness to travel and be placed in regional areas (Java, Kalimantan, Outer Islands).
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
