- Review and analyze tax docs and financial reports to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Manage and review monthly tax compliance (WHT 23/26, 4(2), VAT) for multiple entities across different business sectors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Handle tax litigation with tax office, tax court, etc. (including but not limited to correspondences, audit, objection, appeal, and due diligence).
- Lead the preparation and reconciliation of Corporate Income Tax (CIT) Returns, ensuring all required attachments are complete and accurate
- Provide technical tax support in business model discussions to ensure compliance and highlight potential tax risks, referring strategic matters.
- Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Accounting teams to support the execution of tax strategies.
- Develop and maintain tax plans, compliance procedures, and risk assessment frameworks.
- Oversee and manage the filing of tax returns (income tax, GST, etc.).
- Identify, track, and report financial risks, working with accounting teams on solutions.
- Advise internal stakeholders on financial issues, including tax implications of decisions.
- Stay updated on tax laws and regulations in Indonesia, identifying potential risks or opportunities.
- Act as the main point of contact for tax-related matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- 8+ years of hands-on tax experience, preferably in Forestry or Plantation industries.
- Having License of Tax Attorney at Indonesian Tax Court.
- Proficiency in tax applications such as e-Faktur, SPT Unifikasi, e-Form, Coretax.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations, including VAT, CIT, and Withholding Tax.
- Managing multiple relationships and ensuing client satisfaction.
