MATERIAL ENGINEER

(Dept. Design & Development)

Responsibilities:

Review technical requirement
Prepare written material specification
Review raw material certificate
Prepare calculation; Orifice calculation, WFC, bending stress calculation, etc
Communicate with coworkers in purchasing, marketing, technical and scientific support, and manufacturing
Work to fix issues that arise during production or with the final product, such as those brought on by normal wear and tear or a change in environment.
Consider the financial implications of materials utilized and alternatives in terms of both time and money.

Qualifications :

Knowledge and Skill
Have good knowledge of the raw material frequently used in manufacturing industries and oil and natural gas as well as standard of ASTM, ASME, etc
Understanding the piping system
Capable of reviewing technical drawings and datasheets (AutoCAD knowledge)
Education and Experience Background
Bachelor degree, preferably material engineering, mechanical engineering and physics
Have at least 2 years of work experience in the enginering department preferably in a company engaged in business related to manufacturing DBB Valves for oil and gas industry
Have experience working in companies with ISO 9001 certification, API Q1, etc.
Others :
Having strong analytical and communication abilities
Proficiency of both active and passive english
Able to work under pressure and constraint lead time
Have good interpersonal and can work together in teams
Skilled with MS office especially Outlook, Excel and Word
Have a strong desire to learn more
