Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Customs & Excise Consultant Manager based in Jakarta. The role involves managing customs brokerage activities, overseeing import and export operations, and ensuring compliance with customs regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with clients, government agencies, and relevant stakeholders to streamline customs procedures, as well as providing expert advice on import/export regulations. The role also involves preparing necessary documentation and supporting client businesses to optimize processes and mitigate risks.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Customs Brokerage, including navigating regulations and overseeing clearance processes.
- Knowledge and experience in Import and Export operations, including documentation and compliance requirements.
- Strong Communication skills for interacting with clients, regulatory authorities, and team members.
- Proven ability to manage Import-Export strategies effectively in a dynamic industry environment.
- Familiarity with Indonesian customs and excise laws is an advantage.
- Experience in management-level roles and the ability to lead a team efficiently.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Business, Logistics, or International Trade.
