Responsibilities
- Operate and optimize Web Application Server (WAS) environments, including configuration and performance tuning.
- Manage and execute application deployments, including post-deployment monitoring and stabilization.
- Maintain and operate core systems such as Batch Processing, Monitoring Tools (APM, Infra, Logs), and ITSM platforms.
- Ensure DR (Disaster Recovery) environments are always ready and in sync with the main systems, including participation in regular DR drills.
- Define and document deployment standards, operational procedures, and technical guidelines.
- Support incident troubleshooting and root cause analysis from an architectural perspective.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security and architecture policies during system design and operation.
Requirements
- Minimum 6+ experience in managing and tuning WAS (WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, etc.) and middleware environments.
- Hands-on experience with application deployment, change management, and configuration tracking.
- Proven ability to operate systems in Disaster Recovery (DR) environments, including simulation drills.
- Strong understanding of application infrastructure architecture and ability to define technical standards.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible) and automation practices is a strong plus.
- Experience in enterprise ITSM systems (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC) and integrated monitoring tools.
- Prior experience in the banking or financial services industry is highly preferred.
