Job Description
- Lead and oversee the daily operations of the Investment Operations Department, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in all investment transactions and reporting.
- Manage the end-to-end investment operation processes including trade processing, settlement, reconciliation, valuation, and accounting for all investment instruments (equities, bonds, mutual funds, money market, and alternative assets).
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, OJK (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan) regulations, and other relevant regulatory requirements related to investment operations.
- Supervise the preparation of accurate and timely investment-related reports for internal stakeholders, regulators, and external parties (custodians, fund managers, auditors).
- Collaborate with the Investment, Finance, Risk Management, and Actuarial departments to support investment strategies and business objectives.
- Manage and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including custodians, brokers, investment managers, and regulators.
- Identify process improvements, implement automation initiatives, and ensure strong internal controls to minimize operational risks.
- Lead, coach, and develop the investment operations team to enhance capabilities and ensure high performance.
Job Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in investment operations, portfolio administration, or related functions, with at least 5 years in a managerial role, preferably in a life insurance company or asset management.
- Strong knowledge of investment instruments (fixed income, equities, derivatives, mutual funds, and alternative investments) and their operational processes.
- Familiarity with OJK regulations and other applicable regulatory requirements for insurance and investment operations.
- Proven track record in managing teams, developing talent, and driving operational excellence.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks and recommend effective solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and internal controls.
- Proficiency in investment management systems, accounting/reporting software, and Microsoft Office tools.
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and verbal).
