Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Regional Business Head to lead our smartphone retail operations across a designated region. Reporting to the Global VP of Retail, you will drive revenue growth, optimize market penetration, and foster strategic partnerships in the competitive smartphone ecosystem. This role demands a blend of commercial acumen, operational excellence, and innovative thinking to capitalize on emerging trends like 5G adoption, sustainable tech, and e-commerce integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership
    : Develop and execute regional business strategies to achieve sales targets, market share goals, and profitability metrics. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities.
  • Team Management
    : Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of sales managers, store leads, and support staff. Conduct performance reviews, foster a culture of accountability, and drive talent development.
  • Sales and Revenue Optimization
    : Oversee retail channels (physical stores, online platforms, and partnerships) to maximize smartphone sales volumes. Negotiate with key vendors (e.g., Apple, Samsung) and distributors for favorable terms.
  • Operational Excellence
    : Ensure seamless supply chain management, inventory control, and compliance with regional regulations. Implement best practices for customer experience, including in-store demos and after-sales support.
  • Financial Oversight
    : Prepare and manage regional budgets, P&L statements, and forecasting. Identify cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    : Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, finance, product) and external partners to launch new product lines and promotional campaigns.
  • Performance Metrics
    : Track KPIs such as same-store sales growth, customer acquisition cost, and Net Promoter Score (NPS). Report quarterly insights to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in retail management, with at least 5 years in consumer electronics or smartphone retail.
  • Proven track record of leading regional teams to exceed sales targets in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
