IT Programmer – Core Banking SystemThe IT Programmer (Core Banking – RPG-AS400) is responsible for the development, maintenance, and optimisation of Core Banking applications while ensuring system stability and compliance with banking standards. The role requires independent system maintenance within specific functional boundaries, particularly in fundamental banking processes.
Job Descriptions:
- Develop, modify, and optimize Core Banking programs using RPG-AS400.
- Perform independent system maintenance, ensuring performance, security, and availability.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues while adhering to Core Banking operational limits
- Assist in system integration with other banking applications while maintaining stability.
- Optimize existing features to enhance efficiency and usability.
- Ensure all developments align with banking compliance standards and internal policies.
- Implement best practices in security and data integrity for Core Banking transactions.
- Maintain technical documentation for system updates, troubleshooting, and configurations.
- Conduct training and knowledge-sharing sessions for internal teams on RPG-AS400 development.
Minimum Qualifications: Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from reputable university with related major.
- Experience in junior level (1-2 years experience) and middle level (3-5 years experience) with RPG (AS400) using IBM AS400.
- Experience in Core Banking (financial transactions, CIF & account processing, Host Teller).
