Position: MEP Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing)
Team Size: 18 Members
Department: Manufacturing Engineering – Facilities (Mechanical & Electrical)
Reports To: Senior Engineer → Local HOD
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and technical management of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in the plant (including HVAC, compressed air, water supply, and drainage).
- Review design drawings, material selection, and construction plans for MEP projects to ensure compliance with standards and project needs.
- Supervise and participate in installation, commissioning, and acceptance of MEP systems and equipment.
- Develop and manage inspection schedules, maintenance plans, and emergency procedures.
- Conduct fault analysis and energy optimization to ensure efficient and stable system operation.
- Support automation and monitoring system improvements for production and facilities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (civil, electrical, and automation) to ensure seamless project execution.
- Manage and evaluate contractors and vendors, ensuring service quality and compliance with company standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or related fields
Personal Requirements:
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia (native) and English (fluent); Mandarin (fluent) is a must
Technical Competencies:
- Solid knowledge of HVAC and electrical systems, common fault diagnosis, and troubleshooting
- Skilled in AutoCAD, HVAC/MEP design software, and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)
- Strong ability in system analysis, energy efficiency, and project supervision
- Experience in small-scale modification design, cost estimation, and construction management is a plus
- Willing to travel or support overseas plants when required
