About the role
We are seeking a talented Dredging Inspector to join our team at PT Cikarang Listrindo, Tbk'. In this full-time position, you will play a vital role in overseeing and inspecting our dredging operations at our facility in Babelan, West Java. The Dredging Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all dredging activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry regulations and our own high standards.
What you'll be doing
- Inspect dredging equipment, vessels, and work sites to verify compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Monitor and document dredging progress, productivity, and quality control measures
- Liaise with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns that arise during dredging operations
- Provide technical guidance and support to the dredging crew to optimise performance and efficiency
- Prepare detailed reports on dredging activities, findings, and recommendations
- Assist in the planning and coordination of dredging projects
What we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Dredging Inspector or in a similar role within the materials handling engineering industry
- Strong understanding of dredging equipment, techniques, and best practices
- Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, project specifications, and environmental regulations
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
