The Electrical & Electronic Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, electronic systems and equipment. This role ensures that all electrical & electronic components operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant codes and standards.
Responsibilities- Install, inspect, and test electrical systems and components.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical/electronic and automation equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electronic/electrical faults in machinery, control panels, and wiring.
- Read and interpret PLC ladder diagrams, electrical schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and electrical codes.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to improve system performance.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Assist in the design and modification of electrical systems when required.
- Diploma or degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
- 3–4 years of experience in a manufacturing company.
- Proven experience as an electrical & electronic technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and testing equipment.
- Experience with PLC programming and automation systems.
- Good problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of safety procedures and regulations.

- Participate in safety training programs, use tools and equipment safely, and follow equipment schematics, logic diagrams, and engineering drawings.
- Provide customer training on system implementation in compliance with company standards, government regulations, and make recommendations for improved machine performance.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (D3/S1).
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical solid manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of GMP activity and documentation.
- Proven ability to engage, develop and lead colleagues in a dynamic and changing work environment.
- Clear understanding of EH&S compliance (incident management, rehabilitation, environmental controls).
- Demonstrated aptitude in basic electrical, measurement, and instrumentation skills along with problem‑solving techniques.
- A solid understanding of industry practices and standards, as well as basic mathematics.
- Familiarity with general trades such as construction, electrical, and machine workshop.
- Well‑developed time management and problem‑solving skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree (S1).
- Understanding of pharma utility systems and operations.
