We are expanding our operations in Indonesia, and we're looking for a proactive and highly organized Branch Director to lead our new Jakarta office. The first year, you would be our only employee at the office. As such, this position does not involve managing employees, but you would be the registered Local Director for our company. You will also will be responsible for all aspects of managing the branch, including administrative tasks, government communications, and reporting. This role offers an exciting opportunity to build and shape the office operations, with the potential for growth as the business expands in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Office Manager: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Jakarta office, ensuring efficiency and smooth functioning.
- Reporting & Compliance: Prepare and submit regular reports in compliance with local regulations; ensure the branch meets all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Government & PANDI Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for Pengelola Nama Domain Internet Indonesia (PANDI) and other local government agencies. Handle communications, compliance tasks, and other interactions with the national registry.
- Administrative Tasks: Manage office logistics, filing, documentation, and general administrative duties.
- Financial Oversight: Track budgets, expenses, and financial reports in coordination with the global headquarters.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay up to date with industry trends, particularly in domain registration and web hosting, to ensure we remain competitive and compliant.
- Communication: Serve as the main contact between the Jakarta office and the global headquarters, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 1-2 years in company administration, office management, or a similar role. Experience in the domain registration or web hosting industry is a plus.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Language: Fluency in English and Indonesian is required.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems autonomously.
- Computer Programs: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with domain registration, web hosting, or related services is a strong advantage.
