Quality Control Packaging Supervisor – Pfizer, Jakarta

Position Purpose: To provide direct support and guidance to operators, ensuring they perform packaging processes in a compliant, safe, effective and efficient manner. As front‑line leadership, your presence on the production floor is fundamental to the team’s success and meeting commitments.

Primary Duties:

  • Supervise daily activities to ensure compliance in quality, safety and operations.
  • Maintain packaging areas, machines and facilities in a safe, tidy condition.
  • Verify critical processes in daily production (Line Clearance, Cleanliness Verification, Lot Start‑Up Verification, printing verification).
  • Review all GMP documents to ensure approvals and appropriate documentation.
  • Confirm production personnel are qualified for packaging activities.
  • Purchase manufacturing supplies within budget constraints.
  • Develop GMP documents such as Master Packaging Instructions (MPI) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Conduct gap assessments, deviations, investigations, CAPA completion and root‑cause analysis.
  • Ensure PGS Jakarta meets customer expectations, schedule adherence and delivery commitments.
  • Participate in EHS programs, audits, validation, IMEX initiatives and site projects.
  • Drive team engagement and effective communication.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (or related field) with 3+ years in pharmaceutical manufacturing‑packaging.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proven decision‑making abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication in local language and English.
  • Ability to communicate cross‑functionally and with external customers and regulatory agencies.
  • Organizational and project‑management skills.
  • Team collaboration and multitasking abilities.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Proficiency in SAP systems.
  • Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean Six Sigma.

Position Purpose: Lead development of packaging per customer demand and coordinate with suppliers.

Primary Duties:

  • Lead packaging development and coordinate suppliers.
  • Review and revise packaging specifications.
  • Conduct cost analysis and maintain documentation.
  • Perform stability tests and control of packaging on existing conditions.
  • Prepare reports and participate in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 implementation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma/Bachelor in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
  • 1–5 years experience as R&D Packaging Supervisor in soap and FMCG industry.
  • Good communication, leadership, integrity and report writing.
  • Willingness to work in Medan.
