Major Job Responsibilities:

  • Translation project management (pre-production, planning, scheduling & job assignment, post-translation like typesetting, formatting and proofreading if applicable)
  • Liaise with Regional Sales Teams and Clients on managing stakeholders' expectation and communications o Control project quality and resolve the problems effectively
  • Able to source and engage suitable linguists for assigned projects and communicate the project's expectations effectively
  • Assessing linguist's competency and potentials
  • Learn and leverage on translation management system (TMS), localisation automation and productivity tools to overcome project complexities and text/ data challenges, to achieve higher productivity, cost savings and high quality outcomes

Requirements:

  • Diploma holder and above with at least 1 - 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Must work with MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and PDF software; typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop an advantage but not a must
  • Familiar with Localization / Translation industry is a plus
  • Familiar with web data formats, HTML, XML, CSV, and digital marketing process
  • Multi-tasking, responsible, able to work well under pressure to meet deadlines
  • High integrity, eager to learn and able to work independently
  • Organized, good multicultural communications and coordination skills
