We're Hiring an ICT System Administrator!
Join ESSA and take charge of administering and optimizing our enterprise On-Premises and SaaS platforms. We are seeking a highly skilled ICT professional with deep experience in Microsoft 365, Azure AD, endpoint security, backup systems, and cloud/on-prem system operations. Reporting Line: This position reports directly to the Enterprise Systems & ICT Head
Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7–10 years of experience in IT infrastructure and systems administration, across both on-premises and SaaS environments.
  • Strong technical expertise in:
    • Microsoft 365, Azure AD, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams
    • Windows & Linux Servers, NAS (Data ONTAP), Palo Alto Firewall
    • SentinelOne (EDR/XDR), Mobile Device Management (InTune)
    • Corporate Backup & Restore Systems (e.g., Veeam, Commvault)
    • Zero Trust Network Access & cloud security best practices
  • Solid understanding of SSO, identity governance, MFA, and conditional access.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and virtualization environments.
  • Experience in system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices and service management.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in manufacturing, petrochemical, or energy industries preferred.
  • Optional certifications:
    • Microsoft MCSE / Azure Administrator
    • Microsoft 365 Administration
    • ITIL Foundation
    • Virtual Server Administration
Job Responsibilities
  • Administer and optimize enterprise On-Prem and SaaS platforms, including Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Windows/Linux servers, SentinelOne, and backup systems.
  • Configure and maintain SSO and Identity Provider (IdP) solutions for both Windows and macOS environments.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and usage metrics across all platforms.
  • Manage user accounts, licenses, access rights, and group policies in accordance with company policies.
  • Implement and maintain conditional access, MFA, and other cloud security configurations.
  • Lead backup strategy implementation and disaster recovery planning.
  • Respond to system issues and security alerts, minimizing downtime and risk.
  • Collaborate with internal ICT teams and external vendors to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Ensure systems operate in compliance with internal policies and external standards.
  • Maintain thorough, up-to-date documentation to support operations, compliance, and knowledge sharing.
