EFI was founded in March 2015 by PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia, Tbk, and since April 2021 has transformed by positioning itself as an independent foundation that focuses on mobilizing Indonesia's next generation to advance Indonesian agriculture with two main objectives: (1) farmers learn, innovate, and adopt better agricultural management practices, supported by access to capital; and (2) young people and experts working together with farmers to increase agricultural productivity.

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Research Officer to join our team in conducting research and development on potato cultivation. The ideal candidate will have a background in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, or a related field and will be capable of conducting various experiments focusing on plant physiology, best cultivation practices, and developing location-specific SOPs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and experiments on potato cultivation, including plant physiology studies.
- Develop and test best cultivation practices to improve potato yield and quality.
- Develop and implement SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) tailored to specific location conditions.
- Analyze research data and prepare research reports.
- Collaborate with other researchers and farmers to implement research findings.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in potato cultivation technology and methods.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year experience in research or crop cultivation, particularly potatoes.
- Strong data analysis skills and experience with data analysis software.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
- Ability to work independently and manage research projects.
