Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Jakarta for a Chef De Partie specializing in pastry. The Chef De Partie Pastry will be responsible for preparing and creating high-quality pastry and dessert items, ensuring consistency and precision in taste and presentation. Day-to-day responsibilities also include monitoring kitchen operations, supervising pastry staff, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to food safety standards. Participation in menu development and collaborating with the culinary team to innovate new pastry creations is also a key aspect of this role.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Pastry Preparation, Recipe Development, and Dessert Plating
- Experience in team management, kitchen operations, and training pastry staff
- Knowledge of Food Safety Standards and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
- Creativity in designing new pastry and dessert recipes to enhance menus
- Attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
- Formal culinary training or degree specializing in pastry arts is preferred
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role or within a pastry kitchen
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
